
Stephen YANDLE is Acting Dean of the Peking University School of Transnational Law, having served as the school’s Associate Dean since 2009. He holds a bachelors degree and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Virginia. He has served as Assistant Dean at the University of Virginia, as Associate Dean at the Northwestern University Law School, as Associate Dean of the Yale Law School, as Deputy Consultant on Legal Education and Admission to the Bar of the American Bar Association, and as Vice President for Global Law School Programs at LexisNexis. He has also served as Chairperson of the Section on Administration of Law Schools of the Association of American Law Schools (“AALS”), President of the National Association for Law Placement, and member of the AALS Committee on Legal Education Exchange with China. At the Yale Law School he taught about diversity in higher education.
