Summer Programs and International Careers Abroad
STL students who are participating in study abroad programs and wish to secure internships abroad work with the Career Services Center to find and secure challenging internships in a variety of institutions that uniquely complement their STL education and that align with their goals. Visit the Career Services Center page for more information.
Each year since 2011, STL students have participated in the highly selective J. Matthew Szymanski Rule of Law Program, in Washington D.C. As Fellows in this 4-week program that is co-sponsored by the US Asia Institute, the students are introduced to and immersed in key legal and political institutions across Washington. Click here for more information on this program.
Students pursuing continued advanced legal studies abroad have gained admission, and in some cases earned scholarships, at top schools around the world. STL graduates have been admitted to LL.M. programs at Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Georgetown, Fordham, University of Michigan, and Miami law schools in the United States, as well as to Stockholm University in Sweden.
