Professor Feldman Invited Expert at G20 International Trade and Investment Workshop in Nanjing
On April 3, 2016, Professor Mark Feldman participated in a high-level G20 Workshop in Nanjing, China, in support of the G20’s work on trade and investment. The workshop was organized by the International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development, in partnership with the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. The invitation-only workshop convened leading experts from around the world to discuss strategies to facilitate “robust international trade and investment,” one of the four key themes of this year’s G20 agenda. The workshop focused principally on the following areas: facilitating investment cooperation, supporting the multilateral trade system, boosting trade growth, and enhancing the inclusiveness of Global Value Chains.
The Nanjing workshop was held in collaboration with the World Economic Forum and builds on policy recommendations generated by the E15 Task Force on Investment Policy, of which Professor Feldman also is an invited expert.
