Patrick Jiang has a B.S. from MIT, a J.D. from Boston University School of Law, and an LL.M. from University College London.  He was an editor for the Boston University Law Review.  He was previously an associate with Skadden in Hong Kong and Goodwin Procter in Boston, MA.  His research interests include comparative constitutional law, law and economics, and legal theory.

Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School is hosting a Technology Finance Forum on Friday, December 15.  The Forum will be moderated by STL Professor Zhu Daming.   The program will bring together scholars, regulators and business leaders in the technology finance industry, several of whom are Peking University alumni, to discuss developments, challenges and opportunities in the FinTech industry.

The Forum will be conducted in Chinese.

Matthew Stephenson, Harvard Law School, Student Roundtable and Q&A, December 8

Matthew Stephenson Brief Bio

Matthew Stephenson is Professor of Law at Harvard Law School, where he teaches administrative law, legislation and regulation, anti-corruption law, and political economy of public law.  His research focuses on the application of positive political theory to public law, particularly in the areas of administrative procedure, anti-corruption, judicial institutions, and separation of powers.  Prior to joining the Harvard Law School faculty, Professor Stephenson clerked for Senior Judge Stephen Williams on the D.C. Circuit and for Justice Anthony Kennedy on the Supreme Court.  He received his J.D. and Ph.D. (political science) from Harvard in 2003, and his B.A. from Harvard College in 1997.

Professor Stephenson also is a distinguished visiting professor at STL.  He teaches courses on administrative law, statutory interpretation, and anti-corruption law in STL’s J.D. curriculum.
