Campus Life

Campus life at Peking University School of Transnational Law (STL) is always full of interesting and educational activities. We believe that our academic programs are greatly enhanced by activities and interactions outside the classroom.

To help our students make the most of their time at STL, our Office of Student Affairs sponsors a variety of initiatives and programs dedicated to student wellness and empowerment. These programs facilitate the holistic development of students, both in competence and character. To support these efforts, a multitude of academic societies and student interest groups flourish on campus, catering to the diverse personal and professional interests of students.

Peer Mentor Program

To help new students better integrate into STL’s curriculum and life, the Office of Student Affairs of Transnational Law School runs a one-year “Peer Mentor Program” for new students. Senior students volunteer to sign up and take up posts through training. 1L students are divided into several groups, and engaged into various activities led by senior students. Meanwhile, senior students will provide academic, psychological, and life support and help to 1L students based on their past experience. The Peer Mentor Program aims to provide students with a platform to build personal networks and promote mutual communication, and to inherit the spirit of mutual help and assistance among students in STL.

Autumn Outgoing Program

In order to promote mutual understanding between the students in the class, alleviate the pressure of study and life, and enhance the cohesion of the class, the Office of Student Affairs of Transnational Law School organizes an outdoor event for 1L students. Specific activities are organized by the Office of Student Affairs and 1L students’ class committees. Activities in previous years (live CS, outdoor activities by the sea).
