STL Featured in New Oxford University Press Book on Global Legal Education

A new Oxford University Press book, The Globalization of Legal Education: A Critical Perspective (Bryant Garth and Gregory Shaffer, editors, 2022), includes a chapter exploring the history, mission, and educational innovations of Peking University School of Transnational Law (“STL”).  The chapter, China and the Globalization of Legal Education:  A Look Into the Future, was co-authored by Dean Philip McConnaughay and STL's former Vice Dean, Colleen Toomey, now Senior Associate Dean of Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs in New York City.  The book includes perspectives on the globalization of legal education by scholars from NYU, Hong Kong University, Australian National University, Fundação Getulio Vargas Diereito, Northwestern University, and the Universities of Edinburgh, Toronto, Copenhagen, Utrech, and California, in addition to STL.
