主讲人/SPEAKERS:

Crina Mihaela Baltag is Associate Professor in International Arbitration and ADR at School of International Arbitration in Queen Mary University of London. She has over two decades of experience in international commercial and investment arbitration, serving as arbitrator, counsel, and legal expert under major institutional rules including ICC, LCIA, SIAC, SCC, and UNCITRAL. She is actively engaged in global arbitration reform efforts, serving as an observer-delegate to UNCITRAL Working Groups II and III, and advising governments and arbitral institutions on rule revisions and dispute resolution frameworks. Her publications are widely cited by international courts and tribunals, including the CJEU, Swiss Federal Tribunal, and US Supreme Court. Her recent research focuses on costs in arbitration and reforming investor-state dispute settlement. She holds a Ph.D. from Queen Mary University of London, an LL.M. from Stockholm University, and degrees in law and international business from Romania.

Kabir Duggal is Senior Fellow and Advisor at the Center for International Commercial and Investment Arbitration (CICIA) at Columbia Law School. Dr. Duggal is Managing Editor of The American Review of International Arbitration (Columbia Law School) and has published extensively, including with Oxford University Press and Brill. His work has been cited by arbitral tribunals and national courts, including the Swiss Supreme Court. He serves on panels of major arbitral institutions worldwide (AAA, ICDR, SIAC, HKIAC, LCIA, among others), and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a certified mediator. A recognized leader in the field, Dr. Duggal has received numerous accolades including the ABA Diversity Fellowship and CEPANI’s Academic Prize. He holds degrees from the University of Mumbai, Oxford, NYU, and Leiden, and is pursuing his SJD at Harvard Law School.

Mark Feldman is Interim Dean and Professor of Law at Peking University School of Transnational Law (STL). His work focuses on multinational enterprises, international investment and dispute resolution, and China’s role as a rule-maker and institution builder. His research has been cited in over 300 publications, including reports by the OECD, UNCTAD, RIETI, the World Economic Forum, the European Parliament, the International Bar Association, and the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission. Professor Feldman previously served as Chief of NAFTA/CAFTA-DR Arbitration at the U.S. Department of State. He is a long-time contributor to the Institute for Transnational Arbitration and has participated in global policy initiatives led by the T20 and the World Economic Forum. He holds a J.D. from Columbia Law School and a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin.


Kevin W. Gray is Assistant Professor of Law at Peking University School of Transnational Law. He is a transnational and constitutional law scholar whose research focuses on the interplay of different legal systems. His work has been cited by the Supreme Court of Canada as well as by amicus curiae at the International Court of Justice. He holds a Hon. B.Sc. in Physics, Philosophy, and Math from the University of Toronto, an M.A. and Ph.D. in Philosophy from Laval University, a J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School, an L.L.M. from Columbia University. He was awarded the prestigious Diploma in Public International law from the Hague Academy of International Law in 2015. His recent work has been published in the International Criminal Law Review, the American Indian Law Review, and the Supreme Court Law Review, amongst other journals.
