On November 19, Professor Finder spoke at Paul Tsai China Center at Yale Law School (Tsai Center), to Tsai Center researchers, a visiting scholar from the China University of Political Science and Law, and a Yale Law School student. Wei Changhao, a Research Scholar in Law at Yale Law School and a Tsai Center fellow, better known as the “NPC Observer,” hosted her lecture. Her lecture sparked a lively discussion with the Tsai Center researchers, who rank among some of the top specialists on Chinese law in the United States.

On November 21-22, 2025, Professor Finder was one of more than four dozen scholars from around the world who gathered at New York University (NYU) School of Law for a two-day workshop, which focused on the meaning, impact, and future direction of China’s "foreign-related rule of law" (FRROL) initiative. The workshop was organized by the NYU's U.S.-Asia Law Institute and Mapping Global China. Fewer than twenty scholars presented at the workshop, among them Professor Finder.

In addition to her presentation, Professor Finder provided guidance to some of the junior scholars attending the workshop, showing them resources relevant to their research of which they were previously unaware.
