Set in the dynamic Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, this program — hosted by the Guangdong Administration for Market Regulation (Guangdong Intellectual Property Administration) and organized by Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School — brings together young IP talents from around the world. Participants will explore China's IP judicial protection, global IP governance, frontier copyright issues in the digital era (AIGC, short-video copyright) and GBA industrial innovation; visit leading technology companies and IP judicial and service institutions in the Greater Bay Area; and discuss the IP protection of traditional culture in intangible-heritage districts. Each participant will complete a short research paper on a selected IP topic from a country/region-specific perspective, with outstanding papers compiled into a policy-oriented publication. Applications are open globally to eligible candidates, including but not limited to those from the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the Macao Special Administrative Region, Taiwan region of China, Southeast Asian countries, and other countries and regions worldwide. Ideal applicants include corporate IP managers, lawyers and IP agents, faculty and students in IP-related fields, IP officials, and representatives of industry associations.
A total of 40 participants will be admitted.
· On-campus teaching: 18 hours in total, including 12 hours of module lectures across four modules — China's IP judicial protection, global IP governance, GBA industrial innovation, and Chinese legal culture — delivered by renowned scholars and senior practitioners.
· Capstone module: 6 teaching hours — foundations and assignment briefing (2), tutor-supported group discussion (2), and presentation & exchange (2). Each participant writes a short research paper on a selected IP topic from a country/region-specific perspective; outstanding papers will be compiled into a policy publication. Submission of the capstone paper is required for the Certificate of Completion.
· Site visits: seven to nine visits to leading tech companies, national laboratories, IP courts and service institutions, and cultural landmarks in Shenzhen and Guangzhou.
· Cultural experience: hands-on intangible-heritage workshops at Yongqingfang, and more.
This is a non-profit program with no tuition fee. Participants cover their own transportation to and from Guangdong and visa fees; lodging, meals, local transportation and accident/medical insurance during the program are covered by the organizer.

Completion & Certificates
Only participants who complete the full program and submit the capstone paper as required will receive the Certificate of Completion. Outstanding capstone papers will receive additional recognition.
Insurance and Medical Examination
The organizer will purchase comprehensive accident and medical insurance covering the program period for each participant; additional medical insurance shall be purchased by participants themselves. A medical certificate is required upon arrival.
