The 97th Congressional Staff Delegation, organized by the US-Asia Institute and Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs, visited Peking University School of Transnational Law (STL) on Dec.10, 2014.

For the second year in a row, Peking University School of Transnational Law’s (STL) Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court team bested 32 other Chinese schools to win the championship of the 12th annual CIETAC Cup in Beijing from November 17-21.

On Thursday, August 28, 2014, Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School held its 2014 Opening Ceremony in the University Town Stadium.

Peking University School of Transnational Law (STL) began the 2015-16 academic year welcoming 90 new students, including 84 J.D. and J.M. students, two LL.M. students (from Panama and South Africa) and four exchange students (from Finland, Germany, Hungary, and the United States).

Peking University School of Transnational Law (STL) began the 2016-17 academic year welcoming 99 new students, including 90 J.D. and J.M. students, four LL.M. students (from Malaysia, Pakistan, Peru and Ethiopia) and five exchange students (from Germany, The Netherlands, Brazil, and the United States). The new J.D./J.M. class includes students from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, the United States and Canada.

STL’s C.V. Starr Professor of Law Francis G. Snyder has donated his 580 volume collection of original European Court Reports (“ECR”) to the STL Law Library.

In Beijing, on May 10, 2014, the Peking University School of Transnational Law (STL) convened faculty from STL and STL’s sister school, the Peking University Law School, as well as a panel of distinguished lawyers to address cutting-edge issues in international legal practice and education.
