Francis Snyder and Lu Yi Participated in Sino-French Colloquium on TCM

Professor Francis Snyder and Lu Yi, Assistant Director of the STL Center for Research on Transnational Law, presented a paper on ‘Traditional Chinese Medicine and European Union Law: Cultural Logics, Product Identities, Market Competition, Legal Rechanneling, and the Need for Global Legal Pluralism’ at the Sino-French Colloquium on ‘The Legal Status of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmacopeia’, organised by the Zhejiang Academy of Social Sciences, the Zhejiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Center for Health Law, Aix-Marseille University, UMR 7268 Aix-Marseille University – EFS – Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique, France. The Colloquium was sponsored by Zhejiang Wecan Biotechnology Company and held in Hangzhou on 16-17 December 2013. Wang Ying and Zhang Xian provided excellent research assistance.
