Dean Philip McConnaughay was one of four keynote speakers at the plenary session of the Annual Meeting of the European Law Faculties Association (“ELFA”) in Istanbul, Turkey on April 17. Dean McConnaughay’s address was titled, “Experiments with Legal Education in China: One Step Ahead of the EU and U.S.?” The other keynote speakers were The Hon. Marc Jaeger, President of the General Court of the European Court of Justice, Professor Leo Martinez, outgoing President of the Association of American Law Schools, and Professor Erika Techera, Dean of the University of Western Australia Faculty of Law. STL has joined ELFA as an Affiliate Member.
