Linklaters Establishes Scholarship Program at STL

Linklaters Shanghai office donated RMB 200,000 to set up “STL Linklaters Scholarship Program” (hereafter referred to as “Linklaters Scholarship”) at Peking University School of Transnational Law (STL). Itis the first law firm established scholarship at STL.

Linklaters Scholarship is available to full-time motivated STL students who have outstanding academic performance with demonstrated financial needs. Starting from 2022, each year eight students will receive the award of RMB 5,000 individually. The establishment of Linklaters Scholarship has played an important role in supporting and encouraging students’ growth and providing support for the continuous development of STL.

Wang, one of the 2022 Linklaters Scholarship recipients, said: “This honor is a recognition of my efforts and achievements in the past academic year. I am especially grateful to the teachers and students around me for their continuing help. In the new academic year, I hope I can keep down-to-earth, study diligently, improve my learning methods, enhance my professionalism, and strive to become a professional legal talent.
