Mark Nelson

Mark Nelson is a partner in Dentons’ Dallas and Houston offices, and has 20 years of experience in patent litigation. To date, Mr. Nelson has been lead counsel in more than 30 patent matters and has appeared in upwards of 75 patent matters. Many of these matters have been in Eastern District of Texas, the Northern District of Illinois (Chicago), and the District of Delaware, which hear a lot of patent case. He has also appeared in many other federal district courts around the country and patent litigation cases in the United States International Trade Commission (ITC). Much of his patent litigation experience has been in wireless/telephony, Internet, computer networks, encryption, semiconductors, biotechnology, chemical compounds, and cosmetics cases. Among these cases, Mr. Nelson has represented a number of Asian or Chinese companies. He also has extensive experience in patent valuation and non-infringement analysis. Mr. Nelson has been named a “Super Lawyer” for IP Litigation in 2012-2015.

Steven Geiszler

Steven Geiszler is a partner in Dentons’ Dallas office. Since 2001, Mr. Geiszler has worked almost exclusively on U.S. patent matters, primarily patent litigation. He has appeared in more than 35 patent litigation matters in the Eastern District of Texas, some of which he handled as lead attorney. In addition, he has participated many patent litigation matters in other courts, including California and Delaware, and at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Mr. Geiszler has played a main role in several sophisticated patent litigation cases the United States International Trade Commission (ITC), where he has extensive experience. Many of his patent cases were in the areas of semiconductors, consumer electronics, computer networks, and pharmaceuticals. Mr. Geiszler also has experience in antitrust matters involving patent issues. Among many recognitions, Mr. Nelson Geiszler has been named a “Super Lawyer” for IP Litigation in 2013 – 2015. He was recently named “Best for IP Litigation – Texas 2015″ in The Corporate America magazine’s Legal Elite.

Zunxuan (Digger) Chen

Zunxuan (Digger) Chen has obtained multiple degrees in China and the United States. He focuses his practice on patent prosecution and patent litigation in the areas of medicine, biology, chemistry, electronics and mechanics. His practice also includes representing clients in copyright and trademark disputes. Dr. Chen has represented several Chinese companies in patent litigation matters in the Eastern District of Texas, and other matters including patent prosecution and technology transfer. Dr. Chen was named a Regional Expert for Intellectual Property by Chambers Global for 2011. A frequent traveler to Asia, He has in-depth experience as a liaison for institutional and individual clients in strategic counseling, patent portfolio development and management, intellectual property rights and other legal matters involving inbound and outbound investment between China and the United States.
