CHEN Chuang (Eric) is an associate in Hui Zhong Law Firm, Shenzhen Office. He focuses on cross-border dispute resolution, including international arbitration and cross-border litigation. He frequently advises and assists the clients in handling arbitration cases in HKIAC, CIETAC, SCIA and other arbitration institutions. Prior to joining Hui Zhong, he worked in a red-circle law firm for three years. CHEN Chuang graduated from Peking University School of Transnational Law (STL) in 2019 and he was awarded the National Scholarship and Outstanding Graduate during the period in STL.

TAN Choo Lye

Barrister (Lincoln’s Inn) and Solicitor (Hong Kong)

Choo Lye focuses on corporate and financial law throughout the life cycle of an entity, from its incorporation to its winding-up and termination. As a result of the strong growth of ultra high net worth individuals in Asia, her practice is now increasingly focused on servicing ultimate beneficial owners ("UBOs") extending from advising in their businesses and investments generally to establishing their family offices and structuring their estate and succession-planning. This includes consideration of all aspects of law and regulation as they affect the UBO and his interests, from choice of jurisdiction depending on the UBO's requirements to fundraising avenues to ESG, CSR and green issues to philanthropy to tax residence and immigration, cutting across traditional borders and standard practice areas.

XIE Chenyang

VP and Chief Legal Officer of Foxconn Industrial Internet Co., Ltd.

Dr. Chenyang XIE holds a Juris Doctor degree and serves as the Vice President and General Counsel of Foxconn Industrial Internet Co., Ltd (Fii).

Prior to joining Fii, Dr. XIE worked as the Chief Manager in the Legal Management Center of Golden Concord Limited (Group) Holdings Co., Ltd.

He has received several recognitions in the industry, including being listed as one of the Best General Counsel by Chambers and Legal 500, being named in the ALB General Counsel Outstanding List, and being recognized as a China IP China Outstanding Intellectual Property Manager.

Dr. XIE is the first expert to be included in the corporate legal construction expert database of Legal Daily and has received multiple awards for Commercial Law for consecutive years.

Apart from his role at Fii, Dr. XIE is also a member of various professional organizations, including the International Chamber of Commerce and the China Patent Protection Association, an arbitrator at the Shenzhen International Arbitration Court and serves as a specially-invited tutor at

Renmin University of China, East China University of Political Science and Law, and Shenzhen University. Dr. XIE has authored two monographs titled “The Legal Regime of Chinese Overseas Investment” in English and “Cases and Risk Prevention of One Belt and One Road” in Chinese.

He has been consistently recognised and ranked by leading legal publications as top tier and leading M&A lawyers in the Asia-Pacific region.

YAO Qinzhe

Managing Director, D’ Bi An LLC

Qinzhe graduated top of his law school class from the Singapore Management University and followed it up with a graduate degree in law from Oxford University (the BCL). He then started legal practice as an independent/freelance lawyer before setting up a firm with a classmate which, at present, has six qualified lawyers. Qinzhe has appeared at all levels of the Singapore courts as lead counsel representing individuals, unincorporated associations, and corporate entities. He is also frequently consulted by other lawyers on a wide range of matters ranging from (for example) fast food franchising contract drafting to complex international litigation strategies. His areas of interest include equity and trusts, unjust enrichment, the conflict of laws, and the law of insolvency. Qinzhe is also currently building a small transactional practice.
