Langliang Tian

Former Judge, the Supreme People’s Court

Earned Bachelor degree of Laws from China University of Political Science and Law (2004) and Master of Laws from Peking University (2006), Tian Langliang is arbitrator of Beijing Arbitration Commission/Beijing International Arbitration Center, researcher of the Dispute Resolution Research Center of Tsinghua University Law School, researcher of China Civil and Commercial Law Research Center of Renmin University, mainly engaged in the research, teaching, consulting and related work of civil and commercial litigation, and teaching the course of “Chinese Civil and Commercial Litigation Practice Skills” for graduate students in the School of Transnational Law of Peking University. He is the author of “Sale Contract Dispute: Law and Judgment Rules ” and “Guide to Application of Laws and Policies on Private Lending”.

He served as a judge of the trial supervision division of the Supreme People’s court, has long tried various civil and commercial difficult cases such as finance, real estate, construction and equity, and participated in the drafting of several judicial interpretations related to the Civil Procedure Law of the People’s Republic of China.
