Cheng Le, Chair Professor, Zhejiang University. Professor of Legal Discourse and Translation, School of International Studies; Professor of Law, Zhejiang University Law School; Dean, Institute of Cross-Cultural and Regional Studies; Director of the Center for Legal Discourse and Translation. Professor Cheng has been admitted to the PRC Bar since 2001. He is Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Legal Discourse, Chief Editor of the International Journal of Law, Language & Discourse, President of the the World Association of Legal Interpreting and Translation, Secretary General and Vice President of the Multicultural Association of Law and Language, and member of the Scientific Committee of the International Academy of Linguistic Law. He has published widely in the areas of discourse analysis, semiotics, and language and corpus linguistics. He is the vice-editor-in-chief of the “Belt & Road” Law Book Series (30 books).
