Carole Basri is a consultant with the law firm of Dickstein Shapiro LLP. She holds a bachelor degree from Barnard College and a Juris Doctor degree from the New York University Law School. She has practiced law with several law firms, served as General Counsel of China On Line, and served as Executive Director of the Greater New York chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel. She has taught law at the Benjamin Cardozo School of Law, the New York Law School, the University of Pennsylvania Law School, Tsinghua University School of Law, and the Hebrew University School of Law. She is an expert on the roles and responsibilities of in-house counsel.
