Visiting Professor Leonardo Borlini Participated in the 4th Academic Symposium on Corruption and Shared...

In his talk at the Symposium, he discussed the main findings of this article, which complements the gap in research on the functioning and results of the monitoring and compliance mechanism (MMs) of the international anti-corruption treaties. It focuses on the main patterns of text data analysis using computer processes to identify and compare achievements and shortcomings in the implementation and compliance of international anti-corruption rules.

In addition to Professor Kang, participants at the conference included a Korean National Assembly member, Supreme Court Justice, Korea’s climate ambassador, policymakers, scholars and practitioners. The Chinese ambassador to Korea also celebrated the commemorative symposium for the diplomatic relations between China and Korea.

Professor Minas also participated in the forum for National Designated Entities – which coordinate national engagement with the UN bodies responsible for climate technology – and presented an update on the work of the UN technology bodies in advance of the COP28 conference in Dubai.

The Book “Law Reforms Around the World” Edited by Professor Asif H. Qureshi Has Been Published

The book is based on a conference organized at STL in 2022 involving some 36 academics. An important chapter in the book titled “Mapping of World Law Reform Institutions” was jointly written by Manyun LI, Zhuangxu LI and Minghao HU from the class of 2021 of STL.
