Partner School Scholarship for LL.M. Studies

As part of STL's continuing effort to promote closer collaboration with our partner schools around the world and to train lawyers with cross-border and transnational skills and experience, the law school now offers a scholarship to help fund students from our partner schools who are interested in experiencing China firsthand and studying in our LL.M. program. The scholarship will also offer substantial funding to international students who have previously completed our exchange program and are interested in returning to STL for a more significant period to complete our LL.M..

Scholarship Description:

• Application Deadline: The application deadline for the Partner School Scholarship is March 31.

• Scholarship Award: The Partner School Scholarship covers twenty-five percent (25%) of STL's program tuition. For students who have already completed an exchange at STL, the Partner School Scholarship covers fifty percent (50%) of STL's program tuition.

• Eligibility Requirements: Applicants must meet the following admission criteria:

1. Be a current or former student of one of STL's partner schools;

2. Law background or training: Law degree (J.D., J.M., or LL.B.), or licensed to practice law in home country, or masters-level degree in a related area with significant law background;

3. English proficiency as demonstrated by: native speaker, completion of a program taught entirely in English, or test scores: a minimum score of 92 in TOEFL IBT or 6.5 in IELTS; and

4. Timely completion of STL’s online application and submission of all required supporting materials.
