Our Interim Dean, Mark Feldman, and Dr. Crina Baltag, Professor Assoc. in International Arbitration Law at Stockholm University, have served as editors of Reforming Arbitration Reform: Emerging Voices, New Strategies and Evolving Values (Kluwer Law International) (2025). The book marks the 20th Anniversary of the Institute for Transnational Arbitration (ITA)/American Society of International Law (ASIL) Conference and is based on the 2023 ITA-ASIL Conference, held in Washington DC and co-chaired by Prof. Baltag and Prof. Feldman.
The book examines reform efforts in both commercial and investment arbitration with a particular focus on how evolving values of diversity, inclusiveness, and sustainability are impacting the practice area. The book also features extended discussion of regionalism as an emerging force driving reform efforts.
