Public Lecture | China Enterprises' Investment in Malaysia: A Tariff War Perspective

5月22日，受北京大学国际法学院（英文简称“STL”）邀请，广东良马律师事务所首席顾问、北京大学国际法学院访问教授蔡汉强与马来亚高等法院律师、深圳前海国际商事调解中心调解员邱国忠将于我院举办主题为“China Enterprises' Investment in Malaysia: A Tariff War Perspective”的公开讲座，本次讲座由我院黄卉教授发起，欢迎感兴趣的师生参与！具体信息如下：

Prof Simon Choi is a Visiting Professor at Peking University School of Transnational Law, a luminary at the crossroads of law, academia, and business. He has taught at universities worldwide, from Hong Kong to Australia and the UK. His courses cover a wide spectrum of legal topics, from business law and international trade law to specialized areas like internet law, influencing the next generation of legal professionals.

Mr. Hue Kok Chung is an Advocate and Solicitor at the High Court  of Malaya and the proprietor of K.C. Hue & Co, a Kuala Lumpur-based legal  firm he setup for over 15 years. Field of practice, including commercial and transactional legal matters, land matter and criminal defence. Mr. Hue combines rigorous legal expertise with a strategic, business-oriented mindset  honed through decades of diverse professional experience. Before founding his practice, Mr. Hue spent 20 years in leadership and sales roles with foreign medical device manufacturers, mastering cross-border negotiations and international corporate dynamics. This unique background informs his pragmatic approach to commercial work, where he aligns legal strategies with clients' operational objectives. Academically, Mr. Hue holds an LLB (Hons)  University of London, Certificate of Legal Practice (Malaya), LLM from Peking University School of Transnational Law, an MBA, and Diploma in Management from the New Zealand Institute of Management. His interdisciplinary training bridges legal and business realms, offering clients holistic solutions. A Certified Mediator in Malaysia and Mediator at the Shenzhen Qianhai International Mediation Center.
