The Office of Career Service, Alumni Affairs and Development provides career counseling, disseminates internship and employment opportunities, provides career and professional development programming, and administers the internship degree requirement for students in the JD/JM programs. The Office also administers student housing, student life and organizations, student prizes and awards, financial aid and student insurance, and alumni affairs.
Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, Development, and Careers Services
Charly Zhang is Assistant Dean for Career and Student Service at the Peking University School of Transnational Law. He is responsible for supervising and directing student services, career services and alumni services. He joined the law school in April 2009, served as the Director of Academic Affairs, Director of Student Services, and Chief of Staff. Since August 2014, he’s been serving as Director of Career Development Center, and supervising alumni affairs. Prior to joining Peking University School of Transnational Law, Charly was an attorney at law in Guangdong Shentiancheng Law Firm, working on IPO and M&A. Charly received his Juris Master degree from Peking University School of law and his undergraduate degree in management from Zhengzhou Institute of Aeronautical Industrial Management in Zhengzhou. Currently he is a member of the Sixth CPPCC of Nanshan District and he also serves as an executive member of the Seventh Council of Shenzhen Law Society.

Assistant Director of Career Service, Alumni and External Affairs
Sophie Wang is the Assistant Director of Career Service, Alumni and External Affairs at Peking University School of Transnational Law. Sophie received her M.A. from University of International Business and Economics. She joined STL at 2017, mainly responsible for providing career counseling to students and strengthening relationships with employers, alumni, and faculty.
